English

Welcome to the MuzEnergo project website.

We’re working in Russia for jazz, fusion, funk, soul, indie, folk, country and reggae music from all over the world. We are booking agency, road management service, own gigs and festivals promoters and jacks-of-all-trades in bringing some decent music to our country.

We made 22 festivals in 15 years. We see non-Russian speakers not often in our gigs, so we not really try to keep English page up to date. But you should know some dates, the level of representativity, and you should be informed that any questions will be answered: write to producer@muzenergo.ru or call +7-916-511-37-41.

Our history is complicate and some reviews can tell you we’re bound to the city of Dubna; not today. The project hometown, Dubna, is not the festival’s place today, as we’re residing in a small town of Yakhroma (50 kms north from Moscow, Russian capital).

In 2007-2015, MuzEnergo project included a 3-times-per-year international festival (several concert days each time), monthly big-venue solo concerts, discussion meetings, newspaper series of publications etc. It was still based in Dubna and usually the tours of our foreign proteges started from here to other Russian cities. In 2013, we started MuzEnergoTour, a travelling festival (literally a bus full of improvising bands, tech crew and equipment) which was rolling till Pacific coast of Russia (76 gigs in 80 days in 2015!). From that moment, «MuzEnergo» lost any comprehensible definition and turned to a sort of ideology instead of company, festival, booking agency or anything else. We are just bringing decent music in Russia, in very different forms of organization. Period.

Participants geography from 2007 includes 44 foreign countries: Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Netherlands, Niger, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United States of America. Plus bands from over 30 of Russian cities.
